Hi everyone less then a week to go now and we are getting excited. :)

So here is the address and directions as promised.

Rawcliffe Hall Country Club & Caravan Park
Wyreside
Out Rawcliffe,
Lancashire PR3 6TQ

Directions to the camp site from the south

The best route is up the M6 taking the M55 at Junction 32
Stay on the M55 until junction 3
Leave the motorway turning right on the roundabout on to the A585 towards Fleetwood
Follow the A585 for about 3.5 miles at the traffic lights turn right on to the A586 Garstang Road.
Follow the A586 for approx 1.8 miles then turn left into Blackpool Old Road. Beware this turning is easy to miss therefore
Martins Commerfest signs will be directing you from here.
About 200 Metres turn left into Cartford Lane to the bottom of the hill and cross the Toll Bridge. £0.40
Once over bridge turn left onto Rawcliffe Road for around half a mile then turn left into Rawcliffe Hall Camp Site.
Follow the signs to the Office then onto the top field where we are all Camping.


Directions to the camp site from the North

The best route is down the M6 leave the motorway at Junction 33.
At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A6 towards Preston
Follow the A6 for about 7 miles just after Petrol Station then turn right onto the A586.
Follow the A586 for approx 3 miles then turn right into Blackpool Old Road.
Martins Commerfest signs will be directing you from here.

we are,gunna be on our way on wednesday and haveing a couple days in a hotel by the sea [8D]see you all friday.how many peeps are going:D
 
I think that's now 11 confirmed, but Thowman is having a bit of bother with his van:I There are others who have expressed interest and a few non-Commer owners coming:)

A bit of bother is an understatement. :D I have been sorely tempted to torch her this week. In fact Babs does nothing but give me bother and grief. 3 trips and 4 rebuilds in 2 years isn't great.

If she's not serviceable, I'll probably be coming up with Baz in the Bazmodiesel. Fueling problems aside, the bottom end is very rumbly and I am tempting fate I think to have another big end go.

But I don't want to keep the trophy. I still haven't passed the 1000 miles of driving Babs, and winning it twice would be embarrassing
 
Hello, you can count on the Belgian team, after small regulations, the"COMMER" drives perfectly, maximum in the descents, 60 miles:D, in the ascents, it is neccessary to push...[:(!]We bring beers for everybody and chocolate for "Panky"[V][^]. Surprise for the very special décoration....[:eek:)]

To come normaly saturday morning... :D
