Big Bash A1 Commervoy to Martin's!

Righto chaps and chap-esses.

Bexifer and i have Friday off, so can pretty much be at the Ram Jam at any point. I'm thinking, time wise looking at setting off from my house at around 3-4 oclock? Is this any good for anybody? Baz, are you linking with anybody at South Mimms? If so what time (So i can work out approx time of arrival at Ram Jam) Moley would then join at Newark which is less than an hour away from here. Stan, we are a spit away from Greetham and don't worry.....We only travel at around 55-60 too. (We like to chat to eachother without too much cab noise HAHAHA) Anybody wanting my mobile number so we can keep in closer contact just P.M me;) Not long to go now so let's try and get wheels in motion and make this Commervoy work;)

I might go for the Ram Jam as well - however the Dog is still undergoing its transformation at Woolfies so will not be travelling in the true style that the rest of you guys are - so look out for a blue jag that looks like its never been washed with a yappy jack russell - with camping gear and crates of beer bulging out of every orifice

Lee that's cool mate. You could be our Marker car;) should we get separated at roundabouts etc, you can round us all up like sheep again HAHAHAHA! Woolfy did the same for us in Coventry! Plus you could keep us all at 60mph so us lesser morsels without overdrive gearboxes can hear one another:D

Andy and I plan to leave just after rush-hour on Friday morning. Can meet any others at South Mimms about 10am? So with the Ram Jam being just north of Stamford we could expect to get there around noon-ish? Could be a good spot for us to have an early lunch?

It's about 130 miles for Pootle (and us). Claire has family up north, so we'll probably head of early morning on Friday, visit them and hope to catch the Commervoy as you pass us on the A1. Our van is the big green blob, doing about 45mph.
Scott, i'll PM you my mobile number, as you seem to be the commervoy head honcho, and will try to get in touch during the day to see where everyone is.
Does anyone know how many vans will be heading up the A1 together?

We will be at the OK Diner Carlton on Trent, if you will meet us there please = it's at Carlton Services Northbound on the A1

A1 Northbound, Carlton-on-Trent, Newark, Notts NG23 6JF.

I'm guessing you will be up to Newark by about 2pm, (depending on how long Bazateer takes for lunch)

264 miles according to the sat nav we have borrowed:p. A meet up at the Ram Jam at noonish would seem good for us:D. I think we will get kicked off the camp site at 12.

I am going for the blind confidence on reliability:I The van is now all primed and ready to go on thursday after much TLC on sunday. We have looked after him well all year too so hopefully he will be cooperative;)

Looks like it may be good turn out.

Looking at going up on Fri, est 200 miles to commeruniverse. Will keep watching to see if I can join at some point. I am totally crap with timing so dont wait, 9am generally means 2pm to me!!!!!!!!

last time I went to yorkshire I was in Ran with overdrive set out 10.30 iirc ?? (off to do a search) I remember getting a phonecall around 5pm to see if I had arrived I had just rolled up Martin & Karens drive [:0]:I
I stopped a couple of times for the dogs & a half hour for Ran to cool down & eat etc, 4 hours I doubt it ;)
