Big Bash A1 Commervoy to Martin's!

you only get a bad head because commercial red wines have preservatives in them. I have never had any complaints with my wine only that we drink it too quickly... merlot or shiraz it is then. this is assuming i can get her to go to another festival, then we can go to the commerfest....

Got our`s,looking forward to it.
,looking forward to it.Is the idea to meet on the Friday at the diner then. We hope to stay somewhere near there the thursday night so can probably make anytime, just need to look for the diner on a map. Is it likely to be an earlish meet up?
Stan the Diner is just my neck of the woods is all and would be where i join the A1;-) Other people will meet up further back! Where you coming from? Fontaine, Lancealot, will most probably join up there too;-)

We will be up from the southeast (Eastbourne) so will be doing the whole of the A1 so if people are meeting up nearer the M25 end let us know. The van cruises at about 55mph so if you intend doing 70mph don't worry.
Chamba is in Horsham so maybe you can tag along with him;-)

That is spooky[:X]. Having got the tickets through (thanks Panky) checked out the Commerland post code and looking on the route up thought that we would try and break the journey at Rutland Water on the thursday night. Had just logged on to ask if anyone new a nice site and have tapped in the postcode for the Ram Jam and it is right there.
So anyone know any good sites near there.

Hi Guys, we have booked 1/2 a day off on the Friday so we can join the Commervoy on the way up,(if it is Friday afternoon).
We will join the A1 at Newark, there is an OK Diner just past the A46 at Carlton Service Station, North Road, NEWARK, NG23 6JF this is on the A1 and might be another point to meet up fuel up etc.
There is also a caravan and camping site about 1 mile away if anyone is planning on a stopover. It's about 55 miles up to Commerland from there.

Are people still intending on Commervoying. We are staying (pretty sure) at Greetham site as it is just next to the Ram Jam on the Thursday night so can make any time Friday if people are meeting there.
