Thanks panky!

To save starting a new tech thread, can anybody take a pic of the device that holds the heater flap lever to the underside of the dash please?

Missing the bloody thing, got the two screws but not the metal piece and I am unsure of what I am looking for [)]

Had the van out today to give it a minor run up the lane and tomorrow it is off to bigreds to go up on the ramp for a bit of welding underneath that I can't reach and a good check before the mot tues or weds!

Been having problems with snakeskin blocking the fuel lines and the lifter seems to be struggling, so, thanks to Big Red for wiring in an electric fuel pump I had lying around and for the fuel tank that I have in the van temporarily until I get the commer tank cleaned up.

So tomorrow the fuel tank is coming off and its getting cleaned!

Had the fuel tank off and put it in the cement mixer with gun wash and some gravel, painted it and the floor above and gave the fuel lines a blow out with the air line. Fingers crossed!

Would anybody be kind enough to send me dimensions, sketches or whatever of the autosleeper interior as I am about to start building it from scratch, thank you :)

I've got some sketches and measurements, I'll dig them out and email them to you.
If you drop me a line I can reply with them attached

Thanks for the drawings Panky! Really useful.

Used the por15 fuel tank sealer on the tank and it has completely cured the snakeskin. Had a breakdown last week because of snakeskin and decided to sort it once and for all. Cost me 60 quid for the kit which seemed expensive at the time but the quality of the kit is well worth it. The tank now has a perfect metallic inner surface that would be impossible to chip or corrode. Well worth the money.

Van has been subjected to heavy rain recently which has helped me out somewhat. Had to fettle the rear gutters as they were throwing rain inside through the doors and also found a tiny crack in the side window which was letting water in, which I have now sealed up and the inside is bone dry now. Also Got some painting inside done and some new wood around the windows ready for some ply sides.

Next job is to fit the electric fuel pump in its permanent position and sort out the cab wiring. Found a diagram for the fuel pump wiring so hopefully I won't get in too much trouble with that!
