Thanks for all the comments!
Today: (including me [:0])
Completely baremetal'd the cargo roof from gutters up and also a bit of the cab roof.
Picked up a load of goodies yesterday, Lechler Etch Primer, 2K Ti High Build, more PU sealant, sanding discs, gun wash.......
Long list of things to play with
All to go along with the sheet metal I collected the other day (several metres of it
)
I have been inspecting the Peak area and cab roof and I reckon I could repair it on the outside similar to the rear roof and then attack the Peak from underneath without cutting the cab roof off [B)] Doesn't look too bad after cleaning it back a bit. I am going to cut some vent holes in the Peak above the windscreen to vent the cab to help aid with any future problems. Thats this weeks task anyway..... as well as Priming the roof [xx(]
One thing I was thinking, I have seen a couple of TV programs recently and also a few online people mention fitting windscreens and glass with washing up liquid. Is this wise? I was led to believe that washing up liquid contains too high a salt content to dare getting it anywhere near bodywork [?]
