im glad you got this finished in the end because its gonna be one of the best vans at martins show i can tell ya.i cant wait to see the photos on here of you in the line up of vans. its also a shame hes finished in some ways because the thread is almost at an end.unless you upgrade the motor next year.[?];):p

Actually......remember the film 'Christine' Well Harvey is a distant relative, all I did was to drive him around the block in reverse and hose him down every now and again when he came in smouldering after a night out, and voila eventually an MOT[}:)]

Remember the film? I can go better than the film, (which of course is in my DVD collection,) I have this funny thing sitting here which consists of lots of pieces of paper stuck together with words on and a picture of car coming head on at you on the front. No pictures inside, but still vastly superior to the film, lol.

Congratulations on the bit of green paper from the MOT man.

I love all 4 wheeled vehicles, irrespective of age, (apart from Mondeos and Focus').

The interior looks superb too - deffo looking forward to having a look at him in the flesh!

I haven't explored the performance envelope of the engine yet:I but it does feel very willing and capable and the noise from the gearbox makes me cautious - the MOT man reckons it's the first motion shaft bearings and I trust his diagnosis so will be re-building my spare for a 'quick' swap out.
The first trip would have been now if I'd got me tax but next weekend is the Tatton Park Show and we'll be overnighting:D

After 120 pages, a first time MOT was never in any doubt! :)
