I managed to get the cab almost looking like a cab today[^]

I fitted the front engine cover and then everything else

I put a few extra bolts though the repaired bottom of the panel to make sure of a good seal



How shiny is this[8D]
Its insulation used on furnace pipework so I think is should be up to the job.



There are a few battle scars where I had to 'adjust' the fit but everything lined up fine and once it's painted and the covers in place no one will know Shhhhhhh:). Just a small hole to make a plate for on the passenger wheel arch where I chopped a lump out for the SU and job done:I.

The insulation is, cool! Are most Commers batteries where yours is Panky? I've not actually ever looked for them in the vans before! I ask because our is just behind the front seat.

Thanks Colin. Are you putting it back to the floor? Our is a bit of an eyesore to be honest. I'm intrigued now, I'm going to have to take a look tomorrow to see if we could move it!

Behind the seat is the original postion. The front bench on Harvey folds down into a double bed so the battery had to be re-positioned (by Autosleeper not me:I). Can't have a horrid thing like a battery on show:)

I will post pics when I get round to it...it would seem easy enough, I was lucky and removed Bluebells rusty box,so have that as a pattern I'm having a new one made, it also needs a frame to support the weight,...:D

Although it has been handy with the amount of times it has had to be disconnected!

Photos would be great Colin, I'll report back when i've seen if we have the space to move it (potentially) back from where it came from!
