I've spent the last few weeks sorting out a few little jobs, the new Commeracer fuel tank is now in and everything connected up - I even remembered to blow the fuel line through to get rid of the last of the crap within:I It fitted a treat, the worst bit was connecting the short hose on the fuel filler pipe in the wardrobe.
A bit of floor I hope I won't see for a long time. Aquasteel. two coats of primer, Smoothrite and a generous coating of waxoil after this pic was taken - now all hidden by the tank[^]

I dug the doors out from the accumulated junk (useful stuff:I) and fitted the new window channel - not forgetting the little brackets on the ends that secure them to the door. I bought some weather strip ages ago and cut it to size but I couldn't find the clips:I But then I spotted a pair of Mini weather strips on the shelf - nice chrome finished ones (you know me and bling[8D]) they where exactly the right length. Well I had to try them - it would be rude not to

. The fitting is different as they push fit onto the top edge of the door skin whereas the Commer skins have a downward facing top edge so the seals are clipped on from below - if you catch my drift - so a little mod was needed.
I folded a piece of sheet to get the right thickness to take the trim clips
And tacked it into position
The trim offered up
The window seal and trim needed cutting back to fit under the quarter light and the front end will need securing with a small selftapper but I think the finished article will look pretty good[8D]
