When you have repaired the underlying metal, will you be able to reuse the original peak? It looks quite sound. Don't forget to protect your windscreen when welding and grinding. A friend of mine ruined his with the sparks from a grinder. [:0] Am I teaching my Granny to suck eggs? I'll shut up!!! :I
To the best of my knowledge, my Granny never did suck eggs! [}

Oh poor Harvey [:0]Panky lets hope we don't end up with a matching pair :I
Chris your mate must have been responsible for sybhils scars lol
It is amazing how destorted the metal goes without the peak [V]

Don't worry Cris

It's just a flesh-wound. The rest of the old chap is pretty solid - but I am finding more than I bargained for - has any one got a good front engine cover spare, mine has gone quite limp with rust[V] Lace curtains do very little to stop engine noise and fumes:I
Good advise about protecting the screen - I had a mishap with a Mini when I did a scuttle corner repair :I It ate wiper blades after that[xx(] Don't worry about giving advise - this granny finds loads of eggs that have probably been sucked before - but finds all sorts of new ways to breaks them [V]
