Time for a catch-up

I gave the cab carpet a good scrubbing, it's faded and a bit frayed around the edges but it looks better than the rubber mat. Also made a new speaker grille and got rid of the horrible modern things.
Re-fitted the door check straps after a clean and paint. They are normally spot welded in but I bolted them in instead as everything is nicely painted under there.
I had a go at making a little side table to match the trim in the cab, it fits in the clips for the main table and has a folding angle bracket underneath.
Bonnie did have a temperature gauge filling the hole in the dash but it was just plonked in and there was a plug where the sender should be. So I fitted one and wired it up (through the voltage stabiliser)
and it works - the temp rose steadily and stayed here[8D]
The ammeter is still just filling the hole though:I
Some new bling, nice stainless wipers and arms[8D]
and check out those new hubcaps
As well as all that lot I've done the brakes, the fronts look to have been done recently and the cylinders look new[^] The rears needed new shoes - also did an oil and filter change and gave the engine a good Gunking - ah the smell of Gunk drying on a hot engine[^]
The list of things to do has gotten very short - running out of excuses now
