@dodgeram sender. Can't locate from above from cursor glance. Do i need to be under the van to see it from below.... Will this leak oil as i change? I presume that I do the following in order. Locate. Battery off, Pull out GY wires. Un bolt. (therefore comes out?) Swap in reverse... Reconnect wiring...
From the picture on Page C4 of the maintenance manual - I am guessing that the sender switch is best found from underneath the van?
Martin sells (Oil Pressure Relief Value - £12.5) - but suggestion not needed. I can see this (as per item 5 on page C4) of the maintenance manual. I presume that i have no need to play with filter bypass - item 6 on the same page... In order for this one - I clean area around bolt of gunk (I swear lots as i strip my hands to shreds). I un bolt. Clean the bolt that is removed - again, what amount of oil leakage will there be?? - Sorry
@PaulJL - what's the meaning of "move the piston up and down - how do i do this manually... Refit I get....
One possible thought before i go through all this pain, is that the engine was running rich because it's a new carb and may need a fiddle, I had the choke out at the time (full) and on a warm day I'd probably warmed the engine and could have put the choke back in again...
Thoughts on the above, my good and patient friends...
