Another Wilma for sale

ducatigirl will be me, my name is jayne, 43, 5 kids, 6 if you include the old man! hello to you all! husband is called Guy and will probably be the one doing most of the chatting, its usually the FS1E forum he's attached to so new friends will no doubt be made. Wilma will be coming to a home which will love and cherish her and use her for weekends away, occasional rally's and holidays. The journey from Yorkshire to Bristol may be interesting, although my husband recently completed a 806 miles trip on a 33 year old Yamaha moped (FS1E) from Spain to Caen:) We are planning to pick her up later this week :D:D so will let you know how we get on.

Hi Jayne nice buy [^] welcome to the mad house :D[}:)]:D

"SYBHIL" & N0.1

Welcome indeed Jayne and Guy. I've got to say I'm mad jealous, I love the look of your new van and would have loved it myself. Please keep us up to date firstly with the pick up mission and then your further adventures [8D]

'Harvey the RV'

Hi Jayne, Should be an easy drive back. I did a brief write up on it and it seems to be a well maintained van. The only thing I would recommend is an electric fan :)

Hi Jayne and welcome to the forum. Nick. Look out for RAN the VAN in the Cotham Area of Bristol, you cant miss her she is blue and white with AHEM!!! a scratch on the drivers side (MATT)

will keep an eye out for Ran the Van :D many thanks for the warm welcome from you all, we're already planning trips and modifications will keep you posted!!! xx

Hi Jayne & Guy, safe journey - should be a good 'un, Wilma looks like a special way to travel and stopping for a cuppa anywhere you fancy is a lot easier than on a yahama moped;)

Can't wait to find out how collection goes:):p

Well... she's gone and its all a bit sad. Good luck to Guy and Jayne with her, we've had some really memorable times and its good to know that she's appreciated. As Martin says, an electric fan would probably be a good idea, its something I've been thinking of for a while (as well as the mechanical). I've got a number of Commer bits and pieces I'll be putting up for sale when the excitement has died down...
Les

a follow on from Les, she's here and she's lovely :D! she is indeed appreciated and we will be keeping her a long time, Guy had bit of a trip down cus he's come down with a dose of something nasty, but he has revived and has taken her, William (15yr old son) and his Garelli to Berkeley steam rally. It was a shame I was unable to with Guy to fetch Wilma but couldn't get the day off work [V] as I would have liked to have met Les and wife for a chat. Everyone here thinks she's fab! Jayne xx

Hi to all, Jaynes hubby Guy here. It was great to meet up with you and your wife yesterday Les and have a much needed cup of tea. Apart from coming down with a real grotty lurgy which had me bed bound on arrival home (man flu the wife says....) it was an excellent trip. Wilma performed admirabley and I even overtook two vehicles, both eight wheel mobile cranes:) We`re hoping to do our first trip away in July, our first free weekend !! Will no doubt be in touch at some point for hints and tips. All the best and many thanks to your wife for the lovely comment about our daughter. Cheers, Guy.
