Latest update :p

Made a boss to fit the selector shaft. Just needs an arm welding on :)

And the Lexus clutch machined down about 5mm and fitted to the Commer pressure plate :)

Ordered some rose joints and studding for the linkage today. With a bit of luck i might get it bolted up to the Colonel's dead engine tomorrow ;)

That's it all bolted up [^] All it took was a bit ground off the top of the box, the breather tower removed and the h/brake bracket holes re-drilling further down, and the top 1/2" trimmed off so it sits higher up. Now it has about 2mm pivot clearance, which is still a little bit tight so i will probably cut a couple of notches in the chassis rail, beat it up and re-weld it for another 2-3mm just to be safe.

Plenty of clearance everywhere else. Even the speedo cable is long enough :p and the Commer prop would have been a perfect fit if the spline was the same :( Looked at changing the end over but the cruciform and bearings are a different size [}:)]

Will the exhaust still fit under the box without it hanging too low? ...I guess you don't really know, not having got quite that far yet! ..coming along nicely though mate[8D]
