Speedo drives from both boxes needing to be fused together
With a bit of improvisation, all sorted and working
Gear linkage should be easier than Kermit's was, Just need to remember it works the opposite way :I

You certainly can Woolfy
Cost wise this is working out quite well. Boxes turn up from 75 notes, props from 20. Clutches can be expensive, but i found a good used one for 30. Don't know about the linkage yet as it depends on what material and rose joints are needed
