'A taste of honey'

Really sorry Woolfy, I've been away from the forum from months due to domestic matters which have sadly distracted me from all things Commer :(

After our last conversation, I understood you were working on the other vans (OMG Sunny - looks fab!) So in the interim, I've been sending over spare cash whenever I could to show good faith. I've been meaning to call for ages to keep you in the picture but really been up to my neck at home.

I'm sneaking at peak on CVF from work at the moment but will definately give you a call over this weekend, to discuss finances and get back on track

Today's my first foray back to CVF and can hopefully catch up on all the winter's new members and resto updates - from today's quick taste I've missed loads :p:p

ps. Tim, I've not forgotten the manifold work and other bits from you so will give you a buzz too. I've seen you engine fitment jig which if still available could be usefuly to attempting a fitment for Weber 32/36 DGV :p as I think the engine cover might need some fettling

joking aside i might have to soon. not sure whats happening with it or with whats going on at pauls end, but he said he would call back in febuary and now its may.not only is it loosing me money and space but we did a hell of a lot more on the van than we ever visioned and agreed to just to try and turn out another nice van,so i lost money back then several months ago.:(

if its costing you money woolfy then you are going to have to shift it out of your workshop. put it in writing to him and give him 7 days to remove it and to settle the bill ;)

Crumbs...

I've just seen this. I bid on this one in 2007 and was the second highest bidder. Ended up buying the Marina Suntor that I just sold.

Sticks in my mind cos the number plate was only 2 away from my Marina!

What happened to this? Always kicked myself for not going higher, but bidding from Afghanistan was always a bit dodgy to say the least! lol [xx(]
