Paul, how did you find out the ICI/Delco Codes?

Here you go Chamba, http://66.129.69.181/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3996

With regard to the compliance issue, it never came up but I did tell him that I was simply buying the paint for my bodyshop's use to ensure the correct colour. Testers arrived next day and he told me subject to workload and courier he aims to deliver large quanities within 1-2 working days.

The 'guesstimate' from the paint supplier for a Commer was around 5 litres (this seems to match what Woolfy once told me but best to check first), so with our hi-top I went for 6 litres (3L of each). Plus at that price a 'spare' litre of each for future touch up / blow ins etc, as you never know when availability will cease and unopened it should keep for a good while yet.

I've got an Auotopaints fairly close to me, just walk in and buy what I want - didn't realise there was any regulatory issues, don't suppose the bloke who sold it to me did either. I got five litres but should have got more - mind you I think half of that covered everything else in the garage:I

I think for one-off jobs celly is still available, it's the pro's that are having restrictions put on them due to the volume they get through.

Peggy drinks too much!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

Cheers Paul, some interesting links there as well as the paint codes. I reckon mine's a Seacrest Green, but I'm colour blind so I might be well off the mark [xx(]

I believe Halfords still mix up quantities of cellulose for the public, like Bazz saids, a lot of the rules are for the big boys.... for now, 10 years time I'm sure thinks will be a lot tougher [:(!]

I dont think theres any problems with Cellulose. Its 2-pack which contains cyanide and we had to get the paint booth oven health and safety inspected for.

Cheers
Jules

Too damn right Woolfy - a big thanks :D I called in to see Woolfy yesterday, dropped off our paint and spare roof and Hunny looks even better in the metal. Hunny's final repair panel is being made up today, for another Commer weak spot - I know that's rather a long list to choose from ;) but can you guess what it is ?

Bit of a shame Hunny won't quite make it to CommerFest but certainly agree there's no point rushing her now. We can't wait to have her back when she's done and be enjoying her again [8D]

Getting our tent out of the loft for CommerFest - see you all at the weekend (Panky, you've got a PM)

Great work as per usual, this is top shelf material. Any idea how much one of those nose panels cost if I wanted one??

We've just got back from a family wedding in Chicago and seen these fabulous latest updates from Woolfy :p:p:p

Hunny's already looking better in primer than she ever did with us in her 'original' paint, so we're getting very exciting now about having her painted up anew.

We certainly can't thank Woolfy and his guys enough :)

And relax

yes as you can see the nose job on hunny has been completed succesfully and she is now only a few days away from being ready for paint. just waiting on a few bits from mr goldsmith so we can paint the tin roof before we place the plastic purspex roof back on for good. and as you can see there is a few sneaky pics in there as well of sunny new front door steps being made, these were taken a couple of weeks back so keep watching this space for a few new updates of her progress later this week along with some of the dooogg;):p

Wow - thanks Woolfy, marvellous stuff ! You said on Saturday that more pics were imminent but this is my first time online since then as having finally moved back into our old house at the weekend our home broadband isn't being reactiviated by BT until later today.
It's been one hell of a frustrating time not being able to check out your latest pics, so now taking a sneaky peek from work [}:)] as can't I wait until tonight.

Sadly also I've misplaced my mobile phone too :( so haven't been able to call but I've now sourced the original roof seal in white and this is ordered and despatched direct to you asap.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a different seal design to help preserve the gutters but currently investigating a 'work around' option which can be once the roof's in place.

BTW : Sal & me both love the artwork of the workshop - as Hunny's featured, are these available as a print at all ?
