Thanks Mr P.... I made a mistake... it's the bronze lay shaft bush in the overdrive!!?? - how can I get it replaced?? - not sure Speedies will stock it?? Do you have a diagram of the o/d??

Thanks Panky. Yes... I think it's the only component part of the gearbox made of bronze... can't identify it on the diagram though? Where can I get one from?

Thanks. Will check transmission oil... Does it when hot or cold. It's like it is partly in gear.... yet the gear lever is definitely in neutral..?? Don't really want to take o/d and box off... but I might have too.

Thank Mr P, someone else said that while in Wales...may try that. Timing..? why would that suddenly alter? Was fine for 200 miles, checked in campsite, and then nothing?? - so annoying. Plus electronic ignition should take care of that.

Went to Wales a couple of weeks ago, as you know... and after driving 200 miles plus, she broke down 50 yars, from our camping pitch... kind of ideal really. Anyway, now she is home I have managed to have a look to see what the problem is. I have a good strong spark, but possibly not enough...

How rubbish are the AA?? It took 10.5 hours from my first call this morning to getting us home tonight!?!? only 190 miles. Anyway, more importantly, Wilma seems to fire now and again and there is (some) fuel to the carb.. but she won't go? Any ideas before I get started?? I'm thinking the fuel...

Got to Brecon ok... but then broke down in the campsite!! Yes in the site. We had just driven 200 miles flawlessly, checked in at reception, and then she wouldn't start???? No spark?? Called AA, we replaced the coil but still nothing?? Looks like the distributor... anyone have any ideas or...
