    Commer luton van project

I'm not sure it's a good advert for the quality of their windows, they've long disintegrated but the Commer's still there ;-)

Hi folks, Not my post but I've just seen this on Facebook marketplace ... - it's in Norwich, about 3 miles from me and I'd happily take an experienced first look if anybody's interested but not nearby. Lovely period conversion but luton's are not many people's cup of tea. So it's pobably best...

    Very original Jennings Bluebird project

Looks solid enough, a damn good wash and polish would make it look so much better ! After a mechanical recommissioning, it does look like it could be run 'as is' - although we all know that seeing in the flesh shows more than just pictures !

SOLD : Put the smile back on your Commer !

I was pleasantly surprised that it looks much better and more solid than I thought - once I washed it and removed all the lichen and moss ! It still has the original mesh and most of it's lugs too. The visible rust on the lower edge certainly hasn't holed to the other side. Let me know if you're...

Indeed but harder to find for prototyping - 3D plastic printing is in the realms of the hobbyist now

    Original colour?

The Commer factory record for a van can be obtained from somebody in the Imp Club who has access to the Rootes archive, I'll try to find up their name but IIRC costs about £20

SOLD : Put the smile back on your Commer !

The ones I have are a bit rough but will send you a pic to see whether they're better than what you have. The one I have for myself is in great condition, at some point I'm going to follow up getting it scanned and 3D printed in plastic. My thinking is it'll be a bit weak but might be OK once...

    Out and About

Beryl looks great but but but, a Karrier with TS3 ?!!! Love it around Uffington White Horse - there's a campsite a couple of miles away where it seems like you can see the whole of the Oxfordshire countryside ! Will keep an eye out for that show next year myself, as have friends in Oxford who...

AHA !!! My neck of the woods, love the Norfolk coast. Great to hear you had a cracking BH weekend - it was a bit unbearable in Norwich but had too much on for a trip to the coast.
