Original colour?

Is there a way of finding out the factory colour of my 1972 Pb apart from digging into the paint? Thanks

Some Rootes vehicles have the paint code on the chassis plate.

The Commer factory record for a van can be obtained from somebody in the Imp Club who has access to the Rootes archive, I'll try to find up their name but IIRC costs about £20

Door seals? They’ve been glued on good and proper Lol and they’re all squished and kak. Someone has painted inside doorway grey. I think it may have been duck eggish blue as that’s whats under the top colour.
I can’t find the chassis plate. Where should it be please?

Mine is riveted to the top of the wheel arch under the driver seat. No colour code though.

I wouldnt do that.....rust...& then not being able to re secure the seal!
