    DODGE SUPERVISTA

Working on a way to allow the back to be switched over to turn the whole thing into a rear facing sofa, should be fairly simple I think

Been restoring a set of Bench fold down seats (Wanderer)? Finally complete and test fitted today. Looking forward to bolting them down though might need a different engine lid to clear it as mines got the thicker soundproofed version

There’s a lot braking at the moment - Luke’s doing one on FB. Might be better getting one off a scrapper?

    Tracking a van…

My Forgot to check that part - not good. Weird the plate wasn’t removed, be worth a mint in a Statham/Donovan bidding war :D

    Tracking a van…

Hi all, time for me to try one of these! A friend at work used to go camping in a Commer, I think a Haylett Olympian. She remembers the number plate and for some reason it rang a bell but I could just be making that up! The plate was quite distinct at JSE 50N so likely quite valuable. DVLA...

    Manifold Leak

Been having this on mine gradually getting worse till wouldn’t start, turned out to be a fuel line cracking from the tank to the pump. Wasn’t leaking petrol which was strange but sucking air in so couldn’t pull the fuel.

    Engine Removal

Sorry for late reply but been away - it’s always been quite awkward to get the gearbox back on the engine on my van and that’s with a lot of wiggle to play - I couldn’t imagine doing it the other way round. Best of luck

    Engine Removal

I’ve always fully removed the gearbox first - it’s not that heavy. Need the prop shaft off the diff end which is a quick job - you can get away with leaving the prop in the gearbox when you drop it so you don’t need to plug or drain it (though I usually do drain and remove to make it easier).

    DODGE SUPERVISTA

Picked up some spares yesterday from Peterborough. A good steering column, wheel and steering arms. Plan is to look at doing a power steering conversion at some point and don’t want to chop the one on the van up just in case it goes horribly wrong :)

Betty the Commer Pizza Truck Project.

You could spend a lot more welding pieces in and it would never be as good and would rot through again. Good you’re doing a proper job
