Invested some loot in good tooling to cut 5 angle valve seats and re-face & backcut valves. That's 5 angles on the inlet and Stock 45* exhaust.

Not all of them use hydraulic tappets, you can switch to either. Most Yanks can't be trusted to use a manual gearbox let alone set tappet clearances.

An inline rad in the heater return is a good idea, most of ours have one. But as Panky says, it's a bad idea to put it there blocking airflow to the main rad.

The old 'green' AM4 material used to be useless until it warmed up, but AM3 or equivalent is still available. Best speak to a brake relining specialist.
