Out and About

75 mile round trip Saturday night/ Sunday.
August race meeting at Melbourne Raceway. Problems with the new diff again. It locked up solid. Limped home but something broke as I pulled into the drive. Won 4 out of 4 races though

Did you climb a tree to take that? Looks a great spot and lovely weather. Quite jealous really lol. I’m possibly going camping bank hols so be warned everyone as will probably be storms then.

IMG_2079.jpegSlapton again for a 2 night mini break hoping this time some nice weather. This time Start Point campsite. Friday was ok.
IMG_2079.jpegFound a very local micro brewery pub in a shed. Very nice ale at £3.80. Will be going there again this evening as there is also a pizza oven.

Surprise surprise woke up to rain and it’s in for the day :rolleyes:image.jpg
I do wonder sometimes if I will ever get good weather on a trip lol.image.jpg

Just took 1 gazebo this time as only 2 of us on trip. Now I have a dog this year it’s a godsend. IMG_2084.jpeg
And apart from the gaps in the corners of my homemade tunnel the water stays out IMG_2085.jpeg
She quite enjoys camping too apart from the travelling which makes her a bit nervous. IMG_2086.jpegIMG_2084.jpegIMG_2085.jpegIMG_2086.jpeg

She is a x breeding dog and was kept outside in kennels. Far less timid and not a bad bone in her body. Does have separation issues though.

I was very concerned that there was a fuel leak on the drive down. Turned out the fuel additive bottle had leaked behind my seat. I keep forgetting to swap out the silicone breather hose that I jammed on the spigot near top of tank when I noticed it was leaking fuel over the garage forecourt back along which because it’s silicone there is always a delicate aroma of fuel when I perch on back watching the rain.

Oh no! First we had crop circles now the aliens have progressed onto the beach, they must be on holiday :) Either that ot there's a race on miniature druids on the loose;)
Really impressive, it must have taken a long time to find/make so many similar sized stones.

I hope they made it well above the tide line lol. It’s a pebble beach with lots of building material but yes it must have taken ages.

Looks great. Rain, you should have invited me. It would have hammered it down all weekend lol. Is your awning a parasol?
