Local town centre car show yesterday. Usual range of VW's. 2 firebirds but only one of them was a Trans Am... Only one Commer...

I went to a local car meet last night. The usual crowds around the van annoying the E Type and Ferrari guys parked up there..
Picked Magz up from work on the way home. I parked round the back of her shop in one of Wakefield's forgotten back streets. Lose the bins and trolleys and it's the 80's again. Picked up a few pallets for projects at the same time.

Out and about at Bath Marina parked just off the towpath by the river Avon. Two good pubs nearby.

I managed 134 miles today after a stuck needle valve nearly made me turn around.
Went to a Rootes gathering at The Great British Car Journey. So glad I did. Its an amazing place. Trophies and prizes were awarded.. judges special award went to a blue Spacevan with a V8 in it.

Yeah. That was a bit of a laugh with the judges. Told em I can't wash it because more paint ends up in the bucket

Trip out today to Magna for an NSRA swop meet. Big disappointment as there was only 10 vendors this year. Ideal photo location though. Road was damp and my front brakes stuck on...

Decided to inappropriately park in the middle of a pub car park yesterday when a few jags and beemers had gathered for breakfast... To be fair a couple of beautiful Volvo Amazons, a Vauxhall mk1 nova gte, and a Consul... But a) nice to get out and up a hill, and b) got a sympathetic 3rd place in a people's vote...
