front seats

After a winter of mods in the back of the van now's the time for the front .has anyone got a pair of front seats all I need is the frames so any condition will do

2014-04-21 15.18.25.jpg I've got Alpine seats in both my vans, all you need are thin wooden wedge under the runners (from nothing at the back to about 1/4" at the front) to level them up and they fit great:)

image.jpeg It's funny you mention the thin strip of wood when I took my seats off today to take to upholsterers there they were, two strips of wood.. They will be as good as new in no time.. ;)

Just read my first post back and I put rapier seat for some reason but I got the alpine seat..
It's been a long day

Different to mine,I got the van off rob Godwin years ago he took the bench seat out and put these in I might have to give him a call to see what they were out off.they have a large adjuster on the font fixed to the frame

The Alpine seats were an optional extra offered by Auto-Sleeper, I've been lucky enough to find two sets of the last few years - and in pretty good nick too:)

Job done could not get bench seat of any form so modified my seats to make bed for my 6 year old I am trying to phots but looking after a 6 year old and a 2 year old and running my own business is quite hard at the best of times

Love to see how the bench seat arrangement works. How can you put a seat on the bulky engine cover. Would love to be able to convert the two side facing seats into two single beds running long ways there is room

The normal centre seat looks just like the standard cab seats but the frame is bolted direct to the engine lid. I think the frame has been altered and seat cushion is thinner to make up the difference in height
The front bench/bed was an option on the Auto-Sleeper, it's a sort of rock and roll arrangement, and not very comfy, but with a little bit of faffing about you could get a seven foot by six foot wide bed:D

I will get photos of the bed arrangement as soon as I can front and rear all you have to remember is if you want it you can make it do a mock up first try it then perfect it even if your on a budget there's always a way

Many thanks my strip-down is going well nearly everything out from inside and doors striped just the dash to take out a lot of wires much labelling and photos me thinks.
Getting better at the rusty screws and using small money bags from a bank is perfect for keeping all the screws and bolts separated. Will post a few photos next week

Unless like me, you have a rock and roll type bed arrangement with a fixed wooden divide which means a moany husband who has to sleep width ways
