My Herald 12/50 was the same colour as that! I'm colour blind, but could still appreciate that it wasn't a good colour. It was the 21K miles on the clock that sold it to me.

I had a Viva painted in Rover Tobacco Leaf, that's brown but not rancid chocolate [xx(]

I'm not surprised at the low mileage - you wouldn't want to go out in it would you ;)[}:)]

I love Russet Brown. Its really 70s. And I like the rest of Triumphs' colour range for this period. Their best being murky pond green and hearing aid beige.

Cheers

Maybe it's the lighting, Russet brown looks great on a Triumph 2000 [8D]

Have you seen the website for the Brown Mini Appreciation Society?

Yes, I had a poo-brown one once... [xx(] Yuk!

that's not quite sh**e brown - more of a muddy river in flood, think the white wheels & bumper bring out the dulcet pooey tones[xx(]

brown must be a good quality pigment paint - my dad hated his marina in poobrown, one of those cars bought in a hurry to fill a stop gap only available cheap because no-one else liked the colour either. He was desperate for it to fail an MOT so he could justify getting rid of it but the darn thing just wouldn't rust - not normally a quality Marinas known for:D.

He also had a vivid orange mini clubman estate with the tasteful woodie trim[B)]
