yoxall and beyond

hi everyone

we are eventually home from our trip to yoxall. had a great time, lovely to meet up again and see new faces. thanks rupert for sorting the site and also to all our easter bunnies sam had a great time.

so.....after yoxall we headed up to buxton, had a few lovely days there decided we would leave teatime thurs for evening drive home...bad move, joe lucas decided to rob us of lights, wipers (heavy rain) and eventually power so ended up stuck for 2 and half hours at services at wakefield waiting for recovery to arrive, have his cuppa, and try and fix it. eventually got towed home at midnight:( (at least no one saw us arrive on back of tow truck;))

thanks again for great weekend

Hi guys - nice to see you last weekend. Jessica's alternator died last year - must be a common problem.

You have an ace van there - You need to have a few problems once in a while!

Hope you get him back on the road and having fun again soon!

up and running again:D

Yes it is a lovely van
Unfortunately alternators, being moving parts, are not forever. Also being a camper they are subject to extra demand as the battery needs recharging more often. I fitted an 80 amp ACR unit which is a bit beefier than the standard 36 amp ACR and slots straight in.

sure it will be one of many..:)

Best to replace the whole dizzy with an electronic one. Martin's your man for this.

Cheers
