you show me yours and I'll show you mine...

I've had jessica's cupboards pulled to bits over the past month or so and I was wondering what they should be like in side. For example, the wardrobe has a couple of shelves in and there are no shelves in the cupboard at the back...

so (here's the request) what does the inside of your (autosleeper) cupboards look like?

anyone responding will be treated to pics of tatty cupboards on a tatty old van...

Also where do you put everything? Out van is a mess everytime we go away as we have nowhere to put things!

Have just emptied our van completely to see what we had to get ready for COMEERFEST:p:p:p. Used to camping in a vauxhaull corsa so seems loadsa space in the Commer:p

Have got rid of the loo (seemed pristine anyway) and fridge had been taken out by preiovus owner so that is two extra large cupboards. Going to use a coolbox (although I think the big hole in the bottom of the van with dustbin attached is probably for that?)

Our van has overhead lockers in the back so there is quite a bit of room in them (for weird shaped stuff anyway).

Cookers already in so other than clothes and bedding don't seem to need a lot else (beer will fit in many places). Pots and pans going under the sink (we have a 'hamper' to put all the paltes etc in), cutlery in the drawer, clothes in the cupboard and everything else bunged in the other available cupboards/drawers.

Interior here http://66.129.69.181/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3784 just scroll down a bit.

Will definately be checking out peoples approach to an awning at commerfest;)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

I've got two....[:0]

one (retro) died on a BAD DAY last year (full details here) http://rupertpugh.blogspot.com/2009/07/bad-on-paper-good-in-reality.html and the modern one (piccies here... http://rupertpugh.blogspot.com/2009/08/awningasaurus.html) problem is, they both take up lots of space when you're on the move and they driving away is a bit of a pain.... (I have a trailer I wanted to use for the awning but haven't got round to that yet!)

Saying that they;re stull in the loft so I should get them down and use the new on and get the old one fixed....

I really want to put her kinda back to standard as whoever had her in the past really made a mess with the layout - fridge in the wardrobe (so you can't put stuff in there!) the rear cupboard had a cooker in it (what use is that?!) and the gas bottles are where the fridge should be (why - there is a proper place for them!!!!)

ah well I'll not get bored any time soon :)

My Autosleeper interior is totally stock. There's some pics on the Tulip thread in Readers Rides and if I can get 5 mins to myself, I can take some more snaps for you.

Hi Rupert... good idea.

I have always been meaning to ask what people use the various cupboards and spaces for. Mine is pretty standard, but has funny shaped spaces for stacking plates, cups etc... which is all very well if you want to buy cups and plates that fit!

I have not made any real improvements but have been meaning to. I have divided my wardobe in to 3 though, by installing 2 shelves.

Oh.. and I did divide one of the draws up to take cutlery and useful kitchen utensils.. including bottle opener!

I've got some places for plates under the sink. They have little rubber straps to hold them in. I have some plastic plates which flex enough to fit in the spaces!
