Just been to the weekend show at York. Great show, 150+ RV's and about 5000! european campers and 3 Classic campers [V]

New VW type 2. Deluxe model without elevating roof £31,000, £2000 extra for the roof [:0][:0] They must be mad [}:)]

I've seen these Type 2's in Tilbury docks,not sure if they were coming in or going out. I thought maybe the grill is for an air con' rad,but have no idea how it could be ducted.

I think it's an attempt at a retro version of the corporate VW grille. Either that or it is a removable BBQ ;)
 
I'm afraid to say I can't see anything cool about it [xx(]. Now if they where to re-manufacture the PB we know you wouldn't have to mess around with that cheeky :D grinne :D to shoehorn in modern motive power [8D]
 
Do you know what engine they use Martin and are they manufactured by VW or made under license else where, just as a matter of interest?

In the brochure it just says 'economical watercooled modern 78bhp engine' WOW [}:)]

It also says 'begin the journey to the edge of your imagination'. Some people ain't got much imagination, have they[?]
 
Sounds like they have either fitted the cheapest VW plodder they could find or bought up a load of de-tuned Mini engines [}:)]. 'The edge of you imagination' eh, I wonder who was paid to come up with that little gem or did they just nick it from a holiday add trying to tempt you to visit Belgium ;)
 
wow that's nice :DsureI have seen it on another website ?I wondered where this was leading,at least you could find this one amongst all those awfull modern things no disrespect to the command capsule [}:)]that's different [^]
 
Interesting bumper modification. Is that a tow bar on the front? not a good advert for the vans reliability ;)
