Work starts

As if by magic, Woolfy has another automatic to deal with. Our van was loaded onto the low-loader at lunchtime and is now winging her way north.

Pics to follow later - camera died while she was getting strapped down but there are some I hope....

Annoyingly, they broke the nsf anti-roll bar as she went up the ramps - narrow ramps struggling with the commer geometry. In fairness, they held up their hands immediately and have said that they'll pay for replacement.

Battery was dead when I went to start her, it killed two power packs and so was swopped out for a larger one to get her to fire. Strangely, the transpoprt guys didn't like the petrol can on the passenger seat style fuel arrangement so I had to de-rig that before they'd take her. No sense of fun some people.....

the gorilla has arrived, a little scared, but ok. the delivery drivers broke part of the steering as they pulled her up onto the lorry where they must have fitted the rope. so this also has to be fixed now.never mind its tucked awy nice and snugg with the other three vans, untill the weekend when i shall have a good look around and see whats what.;):p

You're a glutton for punishment woofy - and you are in safe hands James [^]

It was great to see another auto when I popped up to check on Patience's progress. Means that must have been two rocking horses defecating at some point :p:D

Yep - two a penny now.....

Did you spot that someone is advertising NOS Borg auto boxes in Practical classics @ £70? I hadn't made a note of any of the specs/numbers on ours before she got lifted by the biggest transporter in the world but it might be worth having a chat with the chap. I'll add that to my 'Must do' list - that magic list which seems to get markedly longer everytime I walk through our front door....
