Isn't ferrous oxide second only to a diamond in hardness? or is that another oxide of something I'm thinking of [8)]

oh now then i do like that colour scheme aswell i was thinking of painting my camper those colours, but could always change my mind.[?]mmmm.:p
 
are thee any more designs yet as the days are clicking by fast. like i said i dont mind how many times you enter, the more the better.someone has to win. will it be you.[?]:p
 
am gutted as resident artist that things keep cropping up when I try and get designs finished - got a couple of ideas on the go, just working at true commer pace so slow but will get there in the end:)

I love this stuff. I work as a graphic designer by trade however right now I'm overseas without my computer or tools so I can't promise anything mind blowing ; )

go on have a go, like i said im not looking for the most accurate drawing of a commer, im more interested in the colour scheme and the way the signs should look,eg what shape and what type of writing to use. dont forget the clock is ticking bye, so if your not posting pics on here but are sending them by post box to me then dont leave it to late and allow for the delivery tim involved.as like i said in one month from when i first laid down this challenge i will be choosing one lucky design to become the coventry commer panels logo on my van. and that winning person will receive either £50.00 in cash or £100.00 voucher to spend on some of my delights. you have to be init to win it,(IT COULD BE YOU.):p;)[?]
 
o.k. been having a twiddle, hopefully enough to give the gist of the thing....

hope you don't mind another green van but this the sort of thing I had in mind when first mentioned on other thread....

poster design to follow round onto front & cab & all the twiddley bits that would take hours to fill in with my humble pooter:I

other idea not yet down on paper (or monitor) would be JPS colours of black with gold lettering and a few gold stripes, might look the right sort of 70s:)

oh my god, how cool are they studio, youve really heated up the compertition now, i really like all of those and now im foaming at the mouth.i really like the blue one, but also the werewoolf one aswell. but would dread to think how much a paint job like that would cost me.:p;)

have been meaning to get round to getting airbrush techniques under me belt as always been an ambition to get into custom paintjobs. Have done a couple of cars over the years and have produced hand painted signs for people....
