Woolfy where are you? has anybody heard from Woolfy or know if he's fit and well. I ask because he seems to have slipped out of view with no postings on the forum and he isn't answering his messages which is a bit strange. With a forum like this a member could end up in hospital and no one would even know.

Just found out that Woolfy is in hospital waiting for an operation on his finger, which had a dispute with an angle grinder and the angle grinder won. Get well soon Woolfy.[^]

Hope your o.k woolfy, sounds painful. My mate did a similar thing recently with a grinder at his work, he ended up with a nasty cut in his index finger. He's made a full recovery even if it did cause him a lot of pain.

I caught my thumb nail when I was about 19. I was using a 4" grinder with a diamond blade and it slipped as I ran it down the wall and it sliced straight through my thumb nail down to the bone. I held it for about 20 minutes with blood seeping through my good hand and I simply didn't want to look incase I'd cut the top of my thumb off. It hurt like hell and I still have the deformed thumb nail to prove it.
