If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

He doesn't want to sell so he's making it difficult for buyers!

Hello everybody, Eric here (new member, but been viewing for years) I bought this van from Woolfy a few years ago but then he decided he didn't want to let it go with its current engine in the state it was, so we waited until he could find another engine. When that was done he convinced me what I really needed was a six speed conversion and SU carb, so that was another long wait to get it over to Tim and take my place on his waiting list. Any way finally got a train down to Norfolk and drove it back to Cheshire last week, 208 miles (got a bit lost because I couldn't hear what the sat-nav was saying) ran a bit hot and used some oil but no water and I only stopped once. Six speed is very close gear shift and taking a bit of getting used to ( I'll go for the £5 upgrade to paddle shift next time Tim) any way I'm sure I'll be back on here soon for advice on many things Commer.:) Happy days.

Hi Eric and welcome to the Madhouse:D You must be fairly local to me although Cheshire is a big place and we live up in the grimy north of the county.
That's a cracking van and some very worthwhile upgrades to set it off. Did you see the pics of it on show at the NEC a few years ago.

Hi Eric. Welcome to the nuthouse. I'm glad your van is finished... Mine is the blue one that's next in line... Mine is having that v8 in it

Welcome Eric sorry I missed meeting you, lovely van, congratulations.
Paul I have jumped the que, taking next week off got 4 days to change my engine....at least it's a straight swap. I will try to help with yours when it gets in to get things moving, even if it does involve buying
