Wiring bits

Helloooo, looking to re wire my commer and wondered if anyone produces a complete wiring loom kit and all the relays and bits etc that would go with it? Or if not where could I get the indicator and hazard relays, think there are two and also need a new floor switch for the full beams. Can anyone help? Cheers Alex.

Could try asking an electrician Alex ;):D

We can sort out most of that i think, and i need a fuse looking at ;)

Sounds good, im thinking of doing one other thing to it aswell, you lot'll probably shun it a bit but I think it'll be cool - I want to hinge the rear wheel arches so I can take my wheels off easy. Could you do that too Tim? Whats up with the fuse? Is it overloading with your welder?

I recently made a new front loom for my van. I modded the design to incorporate relay, modern indicator relay and fuses - unlike the original. I could make up extra looms if necessary. I mainly make looms for other Imp owners, but wiring is wiring.

I didn't incorporate a hazard warning light - but given my van's like for breaking down, it would have been a good idea, and wouldn't be too difficult to do. I "believe" you can get new floor switches from somewhere like Holdens.

Email me if you're interested.

Sweet, great to know that can be done. More sockets, no prob. Your welder, I cant remember the exact setup. Does it have a standard 13a plug top, or is it one of the 16a or 32a plugs? I can sort that though im sure.

hmm, somethings up then as the plug fuse should blow first. When it trips, can you remember if anything else is being used on the circuit?
