On the motorway on the way home there was a couple of lumps of something thrown up that smacked into our windscreen[B)]. There are two very small 'hairline cracks' in it. They are only on the outside not on the interior face. I haven't phoned the insurance to check if we can get it done (as suggested on the well known adverts) yet but does anyone know if that is the sort of thing that could be filled and whether they will do it on 'old' windscreens and/or if this is a good idea. If I hadn't seen the impact I might not have noticed them.
Gutted because really want to go away again but am a bit paranoid about the windscreen now. (and we need to do teh oil seal on the back axle/diff befopre any long trips:I).
Cheers
