Hi I have just finished putting some new sealant around my windows, I was just wondering if everyone else had sealant around their windows or something different.
 
I took my side windows out on my auto sleeper Sybhil
put back with good quality mould resistant sealant not sure what your
windows are like
Sybhil had sliding windowswith channels on the out side you need to keep
them clean if moss & algae etc

My windows open outwards, there are three windows on the one side and o on the other. I took my windows out sanded the metal and then primed with aqua steel, put windows back and used a boat sealant around the outside.
 
It would have been ideal if you had put the sealant on the back of the frame before you re-fitted them:I

Hi, after I put my windows back in I sealed on the outside aswell. Is this the right thing to do or should I take the sealant off?
 
It'll be OK as long as you are happy and you dont need to paint over it
