Window channels

Getting close to putting the doors back onto Frodo now....

What have people used as replacement parts for the door window channels? I see Woolies sell a 2 part channel and felt system, anyone tried it?
 
You can get this from my Father, designed for Vintage Austin Sevens but fixed Big Monkey Man's windows a treat.

You can get him on 01225 868696, ask for Ian Dunford and tell him you have been reccomened to contact them (Seven Workshop)by his son via the Commer website, should raise a smile on his part.

I used part no 317 from Woolies window channel section as I did'nt fancy messing about with the felt - fitted in a treat!;)
 
Thanks Ryairidh, just spoke to your Father, and the channel is on the way. He said that you were in Alton a couple of weeks ago for a wedding - you should have popped in for a cup of tea!

My dad said you had phoned, hope the stuff works for you.

We were at my wife's brother's wedding just East of Alton, "West End Farm" behind the "Chicken and Hen" pub? Do you know it?

We were in the "Modern", had to drive the 440 miles back to Glasgow in one go on the sunday...nice part of the world you live in. If we are ever in the Commer visiting them again we will have to try and meet up.

Hen & Chicken on the A31? Used to be a favourite of ours eh chasbaps especially the asiette of desserts they used to do... oh and steak night! Looks like we keep on missing Commer visitors what with Steve Williams down when we're both at the festival :(
