I think a quick rub down would mean the final demise of 'my' Haflinger, the merest touch of an abrasive would result in an even bigger pile of rust [:0]. Nice to see a good one though [^]
 
Didn't get the chance to talk to owner - would have told him about your sighting Panky - may have been a nut and bolt here or there still useable! Don't know if it was the one Glyn had seen at scrapyard but fella was having great time whizzing around field.:p
 
just adding my five penneth the oil supermarkets sell is recycled and cheap crap basically, the oil we use in our morrises and works a treat is Morris Lubricants 20-50 and has the thick green consistancy that the old oils used to have, helps against loss as well being thicker
