When a freshening up goes too far

Coming together a little bit. The doors look alright, but they are pretty tired. Over the winter im going to make some new ones.

I pulled some cabinets back out to redo the latches on the drawers. They liked to slide out while i drive! Also the laminate on the countertop started peeling up, so that will need to be reglued.what are people using for adhesive? I have contact cement, and some leftover linoleum adhesive.

Never had to glue that. I would ask a kitchen fitter cos they glue those edging strips on

Been awhile since i did any sign painting but i got out the brushes to paint the spice cabinets and the underside of the stove lid. I'm looking for a spice cabinet latch btw if anyone has a spare.

MAN! thats a fantastic idea! They are spice racks for the time being

I used to sew a bit, so i borrowed my old machine back from a friend and stitched up some curtains, when i was finished i loaned my van to a streetfair to use as a guest room for the bands playing and their families. The kids loved it, they had somewhere less noisy to play and relax. Also laid some lines on the dome lights.

I had to work that day, there was a car show adjacent to the stage,the promoter sent me pics though. the host car club said if i was parked just 10m behind the stage i would have gone home with a trophy. Oh well. We also went to a euro show, mostly vw. We had the best van AND best interior by far, and they said all were welcome but we found that to be largely untrue. It was put on by vw mark 1 fans ,so only vw mark 1s and a very ugly 74 baywindow bus (yuck) got any appreciation.

There werent any split windows. It was all jettas ,golfs, caddies and gti's. There were only 3 bugs and 1 baywindow. It was not a very good show.
