Someone mentioned the jeep cherokee alloys fitting...? These are 16"?? would they still fit ok?? Spacers required too i understand... what does that entail? anyone help?

cheers, Ray

Hi Ray,
I think the Jeep wheels fit if they are pre- 1999. I'm not to sure what size wheels people have put on, but 16" should fit - but perhaps not with the Jeeps bulky tyres. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can give you some definite answers!

Hi Woolfy, I shall get some pics for you as soon as its back! There was a few problems, a rear outrigger had rusted and previously been repaired with some sheet metal just being wrapped around it! So Bobby is just strengthening it so he can weld on to it! And as its not a standard prop shaft there is some extra adjustments needed! Hopefully it'll be back in a week or two - then he can crack on with yours - is this for a secret project of yours or the panel van!?

Nice wheels and they should fit but being 14" they would need the right tyres to get the gearing right. Worth a punt for someone though?

If you've got 14" wheels already you just need to swap the tyres over - cool!

Some more modern alloys on eBay that should fit:

yep you can - I think the camper converters often downgraded the wheels to 15". I have 15" on the back and 14" on the front - coz I'm like that... :D

You can but the van will be a bit (more) under-geared and your speedo will read fast. Later vans went to 14's

Just remember, the taller the tyre.............the worse the handling ;)
