Whats your other ride?

Its pretty tempting as I can get a complete engine for the same cost as 8 pistons & the crank I know its going to need. Shame the dollar keeps strengthening every day:(

Cheers
Jules

Why is it everyone has exciting cars except me? Gonna sulk now. There's been at least one car in almost every list that I'm jealous of.

Passat 1.9T estate
Focus C-Max

There. I admitted it. Running and hiding now.

I may not be very clever but I can lift heavy things

Peggy drinks too much!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

Get your finger out Barry and get that head on in your next block of time off - there's no excuse. I'll come and help - as I am now very experienced in putting 1725 heads on.

My current fleet includes:

Lovely crumbly Babs and her unreliable engine

My sexy little Singer Chamois Coupe:

My daily runabout - the Baby Commer Imp van
img_1718.jpg

My Sunbeam Stiletto - future resto project - recently pulled out of a lock up in south london where it had been hiding since 1979 (hooked up behind my tow vehicle - LDV Convoy - which bought Peggy all the way back from Jockland):

And finally, my Triumph 2500 PI Auto, which I keep trying to sell, but cannot bring myself to do. It just a dream to drive, but now needs a bit or work doing to the body and some tweaks to the engine. Got it out the lockup today and drove back home with a big smile on my face. For those who know your Triumphs, it's a rare Facelift Mk2, which was only in production for 8 month before Truimph ditched the Fuel Injection. Not many survive:

As well as my rather rotten Commer

Mini Clubman that'll probably never ever get touched (i think scrapping it would be a better solution!)

And a rather unreliable Saab 9-3 2.2 Vector Sport as my daily
When i got it:

During some love:

After after some minor mods (aero front end, carbon wrapping, colour coded bumpstrips, 35mm lowering springs, and soon to have a homebuilt duplex exhaust system+rear valance)

Also got a Saab 9000, BMW 3 series, and 2 cars i am breaking but none of these cars i have any intention of getting back on the road!

Chamba's selection just might upset a few of you die hards wahahahaha!

IMG_3351_2_3_4_5aaa.jpg

The truck. Gorgeous. Right, got that over with; moving on...

IMG_7661_2_3_Crop.jpg

The every day car Puma. Uttterly reliable over the 90k I've added to it, returns 45 mpg average 50 if I'm a good boy, real hoot to drive when I give it some and is very very manly.

Lambretta.jpg

The Lambretta. Still awaiting resto after 12 years.

The ladies don't believe me when I tell them I've got a black Chopper.
