Whats the best internal flooring for a Commer?

Ray's stood out(wilma)black & white vinyl? I have seen wood on vw's looks nice too,the sort of stuff they use in houses...I think you need to make sure your not going to fall *rs* over *i* [:0]
what about industrial rubber with the circles on,I like things to be safe & practical :)

I thought about the circly rubber. An air cooled friend of mine has B and Q laminate in his van, and it does look really good, and didn't take long to do either. You could use terracotta tiles......
 
I put carpet tiles down (down with carpet tiles :I), dead easy to sort out any little accidents and warm underfoot. But I think I might go for the black and white chessboard look, it does suit the interior well.

Oh it's one of them is it. OK corrugated asbestos any spillages will simply flow away [8D]

I put down some black and white chequered vinyl. I think it has that clean 60's/70's look?? plus it brightens up the interior. It also feels ok to walk on and you can easily give it a wipe.
 
Or a removable wooden one for when you break down, the family could give you a push without getting wet in the rain :D

All (mostly) brilliant ideas, although ferrous oxide is the look i'm changing from.
Anyone got any pics -I have seen the black & white vinyl. Would love to see a pic of laminate or hardwood.

Thanks for finding that BMM. Either you have an encylopediac(??) knowledge of this forum or you have some search method secrets I wish I had.
That wood is looking good.
I think once wood is laid (layed?) it can be easy clean and hardwearing. My previous experience of vinyl is that it seems to go smelly after a while

Yup, Chloe is rolling with Vinyl, its expensive stuff though, the ones stink :D

It also looks more like wood cause its textured, grippy as well, cold of a morning though.

Its stuck down with carpet glue, then all the edges are sealed to the cupboard with clear silicone.

Its hassle free.

I wouldn't use laminate, hell i wouldn't even use it in my house. It never sits flat and give it a few months and the gaps will have opened up.


Re the washing up, yup i get the missus to prep every photo [8D]
 
weve got textured wood effect vinyl but its about 2 mill thick and has a foam sort of backing, originaly designed and meant for kitchens and bathrooms so reasonably moisture resistant and not cold to the feet at all in the morning (as tested in tewkesbury in october and was cold as others will testify);)
