What show are on in 2008?

Hi All,

I'm reviving my childhood links with Commer vans. What show are there that have lots of light commercial classics, Commer vans and campers? I'm in Barmouth, North Wales, but have friends in the Scotland, the North East of England, the Home County's, Bristol and London, so traveling to any shows anywhere near those places would be cool.

Greetings from West Wales,welcome to the forum, will be good to know there are plans afoot to increase Welsh contingent, there's one in Borth, me in Cardigan and another close by near Whitland so we will soon be able to increase commer numbers at shows (needs doing as you don't see many otherwise)

There has been talk of a commer forum meet in Shell Island sometime too[8D]

Shell Island would be a great place to meet and not just coz it's only about 8 miles away from me! It's a lovely site to stay at with lots of lovely sea views to pick from, the canteen does a decent fry up and the restaurant does a good Sunday lunch. What more do you want?!

I have 12 Commers/Spacevans here, loosly known as 'The Commer Museum' or 'Commerland', private collection, always something undergoing resto, kettle always on :p

But really I hate Commers and would like to see them all crushed or burnt, bloody horrible things![8D]
 
mmmm, could be[}:)] - not sure on that one - my editing just involved moving quote mark up as originally read that I hated commers and wanted to burn them:I Just for the record I'm just melting mine back together in a (mostly) controlled manner & still love it at the moment:)
