What panels do you need?

This morning I had a chat with John Field (admin). We were talking about availability of panels, or lack of it! I have collected a number of panels to repair the detector van, all of which I need.

However, what I am thinking,is to take these panels to a manufacturer and having copies made. What I need to know is, which panels are in most demand and what sort of numbers we require?

At this time this is just a flash of inspiration, but with enough interest this could work.

Any response or ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks Martin

From the 2 vans I've seen, it seems the corner panels (behind the bumperettes) are always dented or rusted or both.
Lower door skins?

It's those pesky grooves that are so difficult to duplicate.

Hi..
I made a few panels myself, lower door skins, sills and lower
sills. These were not to bad as I work in a fabrication workshop,
and we have an old swage machine to get the grooves in. but
the sills were only made as far back as the dip down at the back of the arch.. Also the swage grooves wre not quite as deep as orig, but
not a prob unless looking too close..I could make these if someone was realy stuck, but it helps if its a labour of love..
I also made lower rear corners But these were a swine to to, and
would be hard to do if without the van to work to..
I think the above are the obvious problem panels. But also the w screen surround, and the w screen peak are problem areas.
A note for Imperfected (Alan) If you read this could you poss mail me
