What is the longest journey a Commer has done?

We had Dora at a show in Warrington on Saturday. A pakistani gentlemen approached me to tell me about the Commer he had many years ago. He drove it to Pakistan and back- 6000 miles each way with 8 people on board. Can anyone beat that distance or number of people on board.[:0]

Wow! That would be some road trip! (Are you reading this Commerfun?)

I knew a guy who used to drive buses* on that route, but carry on to India, but this was going back to the '60s and it was mostly hippies going to Goa on the buses! I expect after that kind of distance you would be greatful for the soft Commer suspension!

*Actually they looked like a cross between a coach and an Army 4 tonne truck!
 
The Johnsons Commer - not up on amount of people but 3 year 80,000 mile trip round the world.... there's that Wilsons Caravans mentioned again - of bloomin big walk thru, admins van & Klix the highwayman fame.....

Fontaines on a long Journey - she went down to Chris and Tims a few weeks ago and still hasn't returned ;)

We have an original badge on her that says Wilsons too, i'll get a pic on thurs and post it (unless chris beats me to it :D).
