what is it???

Hi guys
My housemate just picked up this van, it's solid as a rock and runs like a dream, he has absolutely no clue what he has bought so if anyone knows a little more about this type of van please let us know!

Thank youimage.jpgimage.jpg

Hi and welcome to the Madhouse:D
Not sure, dont recognise it but by the look of the side windows it could be a home conversion, any chance of some interior pics please. Great find by the way, looks very solid:cool:

Hi Guys , so I'm new to this "commer" game but keen as !!! Always had old vw projects /hot rods /boats and anything that takes deep pockets and a lot of love !! I've been after this van for about 10 years as a friend had it tucked away in his lock up ! Lockup snow sold and vans now mine ! She's solid , running , and a fully kitted camper too . And really really well done . Roof's not to pretty but works inside spot on ! Just wondered if any one knows anything about it or what it's worth ( not that she's for sale ) many thanks ! Dan

I don't have any interior pick here as she's getting MOT'd at a mate place but will post soon as pos . Cheers

And a big Madhouse welcome to you too Dan:D
Prices are on the up but it's difficult to put a price on yours, it's worth what you paid for it and in future will be worth whatever someone else is willing to pay;)
I get the impression you got a bargain:)

Hi Panky , thanks for the friendly welcoming ! A stern hand shake and a song we shall say for the mo ! Hopefully have her back in the next week or so so will upload some more pick :)

Not sure yet mate , but she's solid !!! Brakes need sorting too but will know more tomorrow . Fingers crossed for me:D

Fingers and everything else. If you need an bit's for the brakes etc Martin Maltas, who is who is a member on here, is the man to contact or Speedy Spares of Brighton.
Thought of a name yet? With that reg and high roof it's got to be Hattie I recon:)

Welcome along...lovely van, there's still them out there for bargains. Cracking to not have to pop the roof though wouldn't take it out in this weather ;)

Nothing organised as far as I know, but usually someone suggest somewhere and we turn up:)

Hi 3ft, nice looking van it looks very similar to mine which as panky suggests as being a home build. I think I would agree as yours has what looks like a Sheldon hightop roof which were very popular with the 60's & 70's home build converters.
