Welding

Just about to start re-skinning the door bottoms on my Commer lorry, I do a fair bit of welding but not really tried something this cosmetic before and would like to do it properly.

Has anyone got any pics of doing this sort of panel work, it'd be good to see how others have tackled similar.

I did a bit of that on Frodo, there's some info here http://66.129.69.181/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3135&whichpage=1.

Biggest issue I found was keeping the subtle curve of the doors (failed) and that the metal is very sensitive to heat!

Most of the welding I do is structural and I must admit that when I've tried thinner metals it hasn't gone brilliantly.
