Do the rest of you get many? Waves that is!
We have found our Commer generates one of two reactions.

1. The wave / appreciation / can we stop you for a photo
2. The laugh / derision / can we stop you for an icecream.

I am happy to report that the majority of people fall in to the first category :)

I'd forgotten just how much attention she gets. We have been away for a year in the Hymer. Now back home, the number of smiles and waves seems phenomenal :D

I am a very happy Commer owner.
 
we get lots of waves, points and stares, we wave back!!! as Wilma is coachbuilt, babyblue and cream and looks like an old icecream van we've had lots of comments about icecreams etc, the old man thinks we should turn her into a kebab van, I think not baby puppy! LOL :D
 
I know the feeling. I had a white camper and there was always someone walking by as you parked up asking for a burger [V] I just used to ask if he wanted fries with it :D

Not so frequent on the waves but kids seem to love the camper - little boys in supermarket car parks going "mummy coooool a camper!" and the students locally gave it a cheer once.

I don't think yori's sliding windows and the fact that we served food through the window helped to extinguish the burger/ice cream/hot dog van image this weekend though!
 
Bessie's better at getting waves than I am (one for the surfers there;)) She's had some lovely reactions including some great facial expressions set in the 'ahhhh how cute' position (just seen a baby rabbit type thing:)) and a car load of students that couldn't stop laughing [:eek:)]:D

Have a friend who actually had a commer pb hot dog van down in The Valleys - lost it one night when thieves broke into garage looking for takings and set fire to it when they didn't find any money, which was even worse as their flat was above the garage - good old humanity eh? [V]

I do lots of waving (especially at the darksiders - they can be jolly grumpy - especially the danbury ones)

I issue my daughter with a bag of lollies to give to kids who are disapointed at not getting an icecream:)
