Hi, I have only just joined the forum. Having looked at vw campers some years ago I have now decided to try and and find an affordable retro camper for keeps. Vdubz are out of range price wise. Also I [8D]remembered seeing Commers on the sea front in my childhood. Last week I came across the Commer Van Fan Site and we have fallen in love with the funky, roomier less common Commer Campers. The Auto sleeper/PB seem fab (from my limited knowledge). If anyone sees such a van for sale at a reasonable price, perhaps needing a bit of work, but not a total start from scratch project, please let me know. Also any buying advice would be appreciated.Thanks Hamster

You've picked the best conversion (in my humble opinion) in the Autosleeper - the most practical of practical classics. trouble is they are very sought after so finding exactly what you want will be difficult, but they are still out there - somewhere
