Wakefield Thornes park classic, Fri 4th July

This show is on every year on the first Friday evening of July. Huge turn out if the weather is nice as it`s free entry to the public. £5 donation to charity if you want to show. The show starts at 4pm and goes to about 9:30 ish.
Las year there was everything from mopeds to Sentinel steam wagons on display!

Thornes Park Fleur di Lis classic vehicle show Friday 4th July. 2 miles from junction 40 M1

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.

2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.
 
We are going again Paul, but only taking Ed the Wolseley as Gladys deserves a rest after her Scottish excursion.

A great little show even the rain came to take part:( despite the weather a good turn out as always.

only one Commer this time. Nice to see you again Paul and your ideas for Tatton are great will sort out the Lights.

Then when it was time to go home Heidi said I could have the pleasure of driving ED home did about 10 miles and [:(!] Ed decided he didn't want me driving him any more so refused to move :( although the speedo said we were [:(!] Yes I managed to break a half shaft [xx(]so

It will be the drag racing against the Hotrods on the way out that did it! :p

My van was snapped by a photographer for the Wakefiend Express and appeared in the paper last week apparently. Not seen it yet.

I had a bit of time today so thought I would see if I could remove the remains of the half shaft form Eds diff :D

So Jacked him up and made safe.

I pull the other shaft out and dropped the prop shaft then removed the diff & found the rest of the broken shaft.

struggled a little to remove the bits (2 Hour struggle) but got there in the end [8D]

Well I don't do things by halfs when I break someting I do a good job:(. I have the diff back in and waiting for the new ones to arrive :)
