At what point does one no longer photo shop the reg out. It’s not related to value. Is it the rarity? Or there is no point on stealing/cloning it?

I have never bothered in the past - the dealer sent me this picture and pre blanked it - maybe people complained before

I don't worry as people driving past can see your number plate and clone or what not
